Recap
This week was an interesting one, full of the kind of gross words I expected from this calendar. I also had a few shorter entries this week, which is interesting. Total words this week was 2,597 words.
Nothing too difficult for me, even words I didn’t immediately recognize had simple enough definitions to work with. And the stories were fun to write, and I’m starting to have ideas how to link Skylar and their friends with Raymundo and the characters he’s interacting with. Which you know, is a long term goal for this project.
All in all, this week went smooth and I’ve fallen into a pretty good rhythm.

And now for a peek at this next week’s words!
January 31st: accumulation
February 1st: bae
February 2nd: cacophony
February 3rd: encroach
February 4th: fart
February 5th/6th: dachshund
Interesting selection this week. Theme wise, fart would have fit better last week, but hey, I’m just following the calendar. Dachshund is surprising. The calendar admits the dogs are cute, just not the name. Maybe I’m bias since I studied German in high school and college, but I don’t think dachshund is ugly, well, with a full German accent it doesn’t sound pretty, but the language isn’t a pretty language.
Anyway, I’m excited to write about a dog! I mean, nothing was stopping me before (I can blame the word count I guess), but now I have no excuse to not have a cute little pup be featured. A dog could have been useful for poop week.
It’s going to be a fun week, the end of January, the beginning of February, 2022 only just getting started!
