I wrote 2,722 this week. This week was stressful at work, so it was no wonder the longer the week went on the more I wanted to procrastinate, but I did it!
I’ve been doing more direct continuation of moments recently, with loogie, pulchritude, and nashgab adding to the list. In some ways it’s a little easier for me to continue a scene, at least as long as it is recent enough, so I have a feeling these won’t be the last words to do that.
Slug falls under the category of stories in which Skylar is in thir early days of Earth and learns something about humans, culture, or wider world. And congeal did play off of an earlier scene, but not like, seconds after, and it also opens up more opportunities. New characters and a major corporation which have plenty of potential for conflict or interesting roles in this experiment and beyond. Maybe I’ll even draw on them as early as next week.
Sooo…. What does this next week have in store for me anyway.
September 26th: muktuk
September 27th: artery
September 28th: bodacious
September 29th: dollop
September 30th: chork
October 1st/2nd: fungus
Well. I guess technically the only word I haven’t heard of before was muktuk. Though I learned some new possible definitions for bodacious and chork, so that’s interesting.
And thanks to the word for September 29th I’ve got a Daisy sour cream commercial stuck in my head and it is likely going to be invading my thoughts the entire week.
It’s going to be an interesting week. (I feel like I say that every week, but it is fitting.)
