I've always appreciated the power of the visual image, but only recently did I start to dabble in it myself. While designing the website for Australian Landscaping, I realized that there would be a photographic element to my job as well and purchased a digital SLR to take pictures of landscaping and construction jobs. My personal aesthetic is dreamy and vintage-feeling without any major photo editing. I like to shoot with a large aperture and small depth of field (luckily the two go hand-in-hand!) Lately I've found a lot of inspiration in nature, but I also love photographing dilapidated old houses, the urban landscape and everyday objects.
